  The Edison
108 W 2nd St
Los Angeles, CA 90012
(213) 613-0000

The Edison is a world class lounge that retains architectural and mechanical artifacts; an homage to its history as the first private power plant in Downtown Los Angeles. Created by Andrew Meieran. There is evidence everywhere of the venue’s history as LA’s first ever power plant, with massive generators, turbines and furnaces strewn amid leather-covered chairs and lounges.

The ambiance is absolutely enchanting, complete with flapper dress clad servers and a beautiful collection of eclectic ornate furniture. Two large bar areas and multiple rooms to dine at, all with their only unique feel. The signature cocktails are creative, tasteful and delicious. The bartenders and staff are professional and attentive.

If the crowd isn’t your scene you can reserve a private room for you and your friends. But make sure you’re dressed to the nines before you descend for an evening 1920s Los Angeles style at the Edison.
