White walls and chairs, blond wood, and caramel leather banquettes are the look at this Philippe Starck-Sam Nazarian extravaganza, a Westside branch of the Valley darlings. It's bigger and slicker, with two levels, two rooms, a central robata bar, and a sushi bar in back. Isolated blowups of a geisha's face - lips here, an eye there - take up the walls.

The food's always good and sometimes better, and the fresh-juice cocktails, such as the watermelon mojito, are exuberant. The restaurant is definitely POSH and expensive...so it's great for a date night or for a special occassion.
